Confirmation is a journey for students to better understand the faith they were baptized into, and affirm that faith as young adults.

  • Confirmation is offered to students entering the 8th grade.

Confirmation class is well underway. We have studied some about the Bible, and Christian Beliefs. Our 4 wonderful gals who are in the class helped at the Harvest Dinner as a part of their volunteering and church service experience,

Yesterday they participated in learning about an ancient tradition used with prayer. We went to Phoenix Park in Eau Claire where they have a wonderful setting with a Labyrinth. Before arriving there Julie Garber shared with them a wonderful overview of what a Labyrinth is, and what to do when we get there and walk the Labyrinth. Following we had a short discussion about their experience praying while they walked the Labyrinth.

Coming up in November’s class they will be studying The Christian Way of Life. Then the next weekend they will be attending the Wisconsin Conference sponsored “YOUTH FAITH FORMATION RETREAT” at the Pilgrim Center on Green Lake from Friday evening through Sunday morning.

Thanks to the parents for their support, to the confirmation gals as they contribute to the learning experience, and to Julie Garber for all her leadership with this class!
